From these early experiments emerged a figure once overlooked in a corporate setting but impossible to ignore in his personal work. Ohlala's expressive eyes and canvas-covered head became his way of telling stories without words, embodying the childhood instincts that taught him to invent rather than wait. It was the moment his creations began to take on lives of their own.

These narratives soon found their way into galleries, reaching audiences across Asia, the United States, and Europe through solo shows, group exhibitions, and major art fairs. Muscle Land, Strength in Sensitivity

This Muscle Land edition takes its name from a playful word twist on the Filipino term maselan, which means sensitive. First exhibited at Vinyl on Vinyl, the show explored how real strength is not only physical, but also found in understanding and managing one's own emotions. That idea carries through the deck's presentation, beginning with a wraparound tuck box featuring Reen's Reality Bites artwork. The box is finished with a subtle dimpled texture reminiscent of canvas, grounding it in the tactile qualities of Reen's original pieces.

The card back continues this exploration of emotional honesty through an original artwork rendered in varying shades of gray from the Ohlala universe. Expressive eyes and a pair of lips anchor the design, symbolizing how we see, feel, and communicate the stories we live with. Together, these elements create a visual language that reflects the core of Muscle Land, a balance of vulnerability and strength captured in Reen's signature style.
